If for any reason Tall Timbers is without power for a prolonged period of time, files stored on our file servers will need to be manually shared from our online backup. The following steps outline the process of requesting files and retrieving the files after they have been shared.

  1. To start, please create a new ticket. This will help us keep track of what files have been requested and which we have already shared. Please try to be as specific as possible with file names and locations in order to ensure quick delivery of your files.
  2. Once the files have been shared with you, you will recieve an email from IDrive stating that Tall Timbers has shared files with you. (IDrive is the solution we use for our cloud backups)
  3. Click the link in the email to begin the retrieval process.
  4. You will be brought to the IDrive website and asked to log in. If you have an IDrive account already, simply sign in and you will see the files. Otherwise, select "Sign Up Now".
  5. After selecting "Sign Up Now" you will be brought to a page to create your account. **IDrive will defualt to signing you up for a paid account. You do not need to pay, select the free account option highlited in red below and the payment options should disappear.** After selecting a free account, fill in your information and complete the account sign up process.
  6. Whether you signed into an existing account or created one, you should now be at the screen with your shared files. Select the check boxes for all the files you want to download and click the download icon to begin the process. If you have selected more than one file, a zip file will be created containing all the selected files.

After power has been restored we will remove all file shares, rendering the emailed links invalid. Until that point, all shares will be kept available so you can re-download files if needed.
