Note on migrating from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro: The ArcGIS10.8.x series will be the final release series of ArcMap and will be supported until 2026. Esri will continue to add functionality to ArcGIS Pro that does not exist in ArcMap. The Geospatial Center recommends that all users solely using the ArcMap product review the following free learn lesson Migrate from ArcMap to ArcGIS Pro. ArcGIS Pro is a named user license and therefore can be opened on any machine and taken offline/online on any machine, laptop or desktop. It is recommended that users have ArcGIS Pro on your desktop and laptop computer, with one additional Single Use ArcMap either on your desktop or laptop (if necessary), but preferably not both.
